Sam Rivers is a native Texan who loves to write stories that tug at the hearts of her readers. After teaching for 22 years, she retired from teaching high school English to focus on the stories she loves to share. Sam has been married for 44 years with one daughter and two granddaughters who are the lights of her world.

“Love’s Never-Ending Gifts Saga: A New Beginning” is Sam River’s debut novel. This saga focuses on the gifts we receive from those who love us and teach us to love unconditionally. Its main focus is on two families who share an unbreakable bond and then pass on that bond to the future generations of their families. The love of family and friends strengthens their faith in God. Each generation discovers the overwhelming power of unconditional love. This love begins a journey of self-discovery for the female protagonists whose worlds have come crashing down around them. They lose their ability to believe in themselves and their ability to trust their own instincts and decision-making. Their family, friends, and faith in God lead them to discover a strength they never knew they had to prevail and overcome all obstacles life puts in their path. They learn that unconditional love vs. the conditional love they settle for is the key to believing in themselves and succeeding in life no matter what harsh realities they may encounter.
